Situated along the most bio-diverse seacoast in the nation, Florida Oceanographic Society is a nationally recognized leader in environmental education and research. Our 57-acre marine life nature center on Hutchison Island, Stuart, FL, features a 750,000 gallon game-fish lagoon, stingray touch tank (both with daily feeding programs), nature trails with guided tours and educational programs for all ages. The Society also conducts research and restoration programs designed to maintain healthy coastal ecosystems and help preserve Florida's unique environmental heritage.
