You don't have to be rich or famous to get in on the action at deBary Hall Historic Site - once the retreat of Frederick deBary (a wealthy wine-merchant) and his cronies, this graceful home and expansive estate on the St Johns River offers 21st-century visitors a glimpse of a genteel past. There are, in addition to guided tours, multimedia programs and a variety of exhibits, pleasant little walking trails and perfect spots to picnic.
