Description

Learn more about life in Daytona Beach before there was car-racing on the beach through educational exhibits at Halifax Historical Museum. Housed in the old Merchants Bank Building, visitors will find a collection here of artifacts and memorabilia exploring topics and time-periods from Native American habitation through Spanish and British Plantation eras on to World War II in the Pacific. There's also a range of material dedicated to the lives of local greats - and you'll find, of course, further information on the beach racing that kick-started Daytona's "race-y" reputation.
