Description

If history came alive in the South Florida Museum what a ruckus there would be! This educational facility explores regional history from the Ice Age on to more recent settlement with artifacts and dioramas to make it all more accessible. This is the place to be for those with even a passing interest in archaeology, with items on display unearthed from a variety of locations around the state. Don’t even think about pulling up anchor if you’ve not yet had the chance to see the manatee mascot, "Snooty at the Parker Manatee Aquarium or catching a show with all the stars at Bishop Planetarium, both associated with the museum. Find the South Florida Museum in central Bradenton, just north of Sarasota and south of Tampa.
