Wild, serene, historic and beautiful, the Princess Place Preserve is the crown jewel in Flagler County’s setting of parks and preserves. Home to nesting bald eagles and situated on a knoll overlooking the confluence of Pellicer Creek and the Matanzas River, the estate was once home to a Russian princess. The preserve also provides guided estuary trips, and ADA compliant paved-hiking trail, primitive camping sites and equestrian trails for horseback riders. The preserve contains the oldest standing homestead in Flagler County and provides step back in time to old Florida.
Princess Place Preserve was acquired by Flagler County using Preservation 2000 grant funds provided by Florida Communities Trust. It was the first acquisition for the Florida Communities Trust program.
