Inhabited long ago by the Calusa, Pine Island today shows a noticeably more modern face - but thanks to the exhibits at the Museum of the Islands (MOTI), you can still enjoy a step back in time. Find all sorts of memorabilia here from a more recent epoch, like antique dolls and old photographs, on to a collection of natural odds & ends, a fascinating shell display and artifacts from excavated Calusha settlements.
