Description

Don’t think you’ve been spirited away to Bactria upon glimpsing the minarets crowning Tampa’s historic landmark, the Henry B Plant Museum. In bygone days this building served as a high-class hotel, though high times gave way to hard times and the present exhibition space pays tribute to the past by way of period furnishings and architecture(University of Tampa also makes use of a section of this old building). These days, there are enough intricate gables and sensuous arabesque arches to make other historic facades blush – you’ll glimpse a glamorous past here that won’t be easily forgotten.
