Nestled on the border of the 31,000 acre Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge, our 40 acre campground is not your typical RV park, and offers natural Florida camping at it's finest. We have full-hook-up and water & electric sites with 30amp and 50amp service for self-contained recreational vehicles, and separate primitive tenting sites, all surrounded by hundreds of big oak and tall pine trees. All sites include picnic table and fire pit, and we have a centrally located modern bathhouse, laundry room, and dump station. Shuffleboard is available for your competitive side. Our camp store offers ice-cold soft drinks, bagged ice, snacks and limited grocery items, plus camping and fishing items, and bait & tackle.

Need a place to hold your small get-together? Our newly renovated pavilion can be the place! It has heat and air conditioning, or you can open the screened windows to let the fresh air flow through. It is fully lighted, has tables and chairs, and can hold up to 40 people. Call us for rental information.

For the avid fisherman, or the lazy paddler, our public boat ramp allows you access to the 6 1/2 mile long Chassahowitzka River. A constant 72 degrees year round, and one of the most pristine, 'Old Florida' rivers, "The Chaz" is not a deep river, but is fed by many freshwater springs, and is home to the coveted large-mouth bass, blue crab, snapper, and many other varieties of fish. Saltwater angling in the famous Gulf of Mexico is just a boat ride away. Don't have your own vessel? Don't worry - Nature Coast Outpost, located at our boat ramp, has canoe, kayak, and jon boat rentals. Paddle around and you may come across some turtles, manatees, otters, or dolphin!

We are open 7 days a week, year-round. Whether you come to camp for a night, a week, or longer, or just want to take a day trip to fish and swim, this is THE place to be. We assure that your visit here with us will be a pleasurable and memorable one! Read Less
