When traffic seizes up like some prehistoric beast, learn something from it - make a stop at Cape Coral HIstorical Museum and put modern mayhem in perspective. Here exhibits offer educational insights into shells and fossils, antiques and artifacts as well as providing the opportunity (courtesy of the Lois Herbert Memorial Rose Garden) to linger on to smell the... roses. There's a variety of changing exhibits here too, in addition to monthly lectures and information on Cape Coral's historic buildings.
