Description

Whether your interest lies in the elegant Victorian lines and period furnishings of the Knott House or the building's intriguing history (the story has it that this house was built by a freed African American long before slavery was done away with in Florida),you'll find the modern residence (now a museum) worth a tour. The lady of the Knott House, Luella Knott, wrote rhymes for her favorite pieces of furniture, adding an element of personability to this historic place.
